MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, March 12, 2010 Good Luck to the boys and girls tennis teams today as they face Blackman HS @ home. Match time is 3:30 @ the park. Come out and support Commando Tennis!! All Freshman Boys Basketball Players need to see Coach Sarver in Room 231 after 2nd Block. All students registering for College English or College Algebra for next school year will need to meet @ 9:15 Tuesday, March 16th , in the cafeteria with a representative from VSCC. Any questions see Darren Frank. Spanish Club is going to Casa Vieja on Tuesday, March 16th @ 6:30 pm. Please come and enjoy. The Red Cross will host the Spring Blood Drive on Tuesday, March 16th in the upstairs gym. Sign ups will be this week in the cafeteria at lunch. If you have any questions, see Mr. Anderson in room 116. H.H.S. Golden Girl Try-outs are March 17, 18th and 19th. There is a mandatory parents meeting at 7:30 on Tuesday March 16th for all those trying out. Come be the office to pick up a try out application. Prom Tickets go on sale March 22nd for $50.00 each. They will be sold at lunch or from Mrs. Rogers in room 106. They will be sold for 2 weeks @ $50 and after spring break the price goes to $55 each! Be sure to buy your tickets before Spring Break! We will also be selling after prom ticket for $12.00 This event is sponsored by the City of Hendersonville. If anyone plans to take someone to the Prom that is not a student at HHS, they must fill out a form. The form is in the front office or Room 106. This form must be returned to the main office and approved before prom tickets can be bought and must be turned in before April 1st! Parents of seniors attending the prom can come to watch the Senior Walk at 10:00 pm. You must purchase a ticket at school for your parents. The price is $5.00 for 2. Parents will need to dress in Sunday like clothes and NO children are invited. The Tennis Team will be hosting a Spirit Night @ Shane’s Rib Shack tonight. This is in celebration of the start of the spring sport season. Come out and support HHS athletics!
