The recruiting process for prospective college student-athletes can be confusing and frustrating for students and parents alike. The landscape of what colleges can do, when they can do it, and what athletes are expected to do seems to change every year, with little communication to the general public. The information that follows is to help students and parents begin the process of understanding the recruiting process as it relates to student-athletes in general and to the overall college admissions process.
