Yearbooks are on sale. You can order from Jostens online or bring money to Mrs. Good in front office. Price is $75 for yearbook, $7 for name and $3 for icon. Make checks out to HHS.

 

All students who have 6 or more unexcused absences must appeal for credit. Appeal forms are in the front office and must be turned in by Thursday, December 13th. Appeals are for unexcused absences only.

 

Seniors, The Sumner County Retired Teachers Association is offering a $1500 scholarship to a senior who plans to major in education.  Please pick up an application in the guidance office. This is due to Mrs. Henry on January 8, 2019.  

 

CONGRATULATIONS to the boys bowling team.  They have made it to the semi-finals!!!  Congrats to Brian Stinson for a 202, Cason Smith for 220 and Payne Baggett for a 221. Next up, Mt Juliet.  Next Thursday at 1 at Hermitage Strike and Spare.  If you see a member of the bowling team, wish them good luck. It will be a very tough match. LET’S GO COMMANDOS!!!!!!

 

The wrestling team won it’s 6th straight last night by defeating Northwest 36-27 and Northeast 48-27. Congratulations!

The freshman boys’ basketball team lost a close game to Wilson Central 42-41. They came back from 15 down to tie the game. They had 4 shots to win the game and couldn’t hit the game winner. Jake Fuller came off the bench to lead the team with 13 points while Cam MacMaster added 9. Great job coming back and make it very exciting!
