Middle College High School applications are due by 3pm TODAY, April 20th. Please see your guidance counselor for submission information or call the Middle College office.
Prom tickets are on sale in room 229 between classes and before school, they will be $50 per ticket (cash or check only) and you will need to show your student ID when buying tickets. On April 24th the tickets will go up to $60.00. If you are bringing a student from another school, they must fill out a form and have it approved before April 24. You can pick up these forms in the front office.
Dismissal procedure for prom day will be as follows:
You will need to bring a note to the front office by Tuesday, April 24. We will ONLY be dismissing at the end of each period. Your note must include, 1. Your name, 2. Your grade, 3. Parent signature and phone number, 4. The time you are leaving. We also have a form letter you may pick up in the front office to use. NOTES AND PHONE CALLS FOR PROM DISMISSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY OF PROM. This is considered a regular attendance day.
Arm bands for after prom activities for Holder Fun Center from 12:00am-2:00am will be sold in room 229 for $10 each. It includes go carts, bumper cars, laser tag, gyro extreme, glow mini golf, rock climbing, euro bungee, 2 cosmic bowling games with shoes, $6 arcade card, 2 slices of pizza and large soft drink.
All students, teachers and faculty interested in creating a more inclusive, positive and safe school please attend the next SCLT open forum on April 25 from 3pm-4pm in the lecture hall.
Black & Gold Day is May 7. The next turn in days will be April 24 and April 26. The cost will be $20 and will include a t-shirt, a lunch voucher and a great day outside! This will be a fun day with the spring sports pep rally, the annual black and gold football game and food trucks!
Students important reminders for Black & Gold day:
Everyone is allowed to participate in Black & Gold day. The $20 turn in gets you the Black & Gold Day 2018 t-shirt, a $5.00 food voucher and first access to the food trucks and game. You must have have your Black & Gold shirt on to leave the gym early – no exceptions. Do not lose your voucher, they will not replaced! If you choose not to buy the shirt and voucher you will be dismissed 1st from the pep rally to go to the cafeteria for lunch and will remain in the cafeteria until the gym is cleared.
Any senior that have not picked up their cap and gown, and have already paid for it, please stop by room 140. If you still need to pay for the cap and gown, you must bring in cash or money order.
Any FBLA Senior member in good standing may purchase FBLA graduation cords for $16 and order from Mrs. Willyard in room 226. The deadline to order cords is Friday, April 27.
Seniors, please pick up an application in the guidance office for the Christopher Taylor Memorial Scholarship. It is a $1000 scholarship if you are majoring in math, science, secondary education, or ministry. This scholarship application is due May 4th to Mrs. Henry in the guidance office.
Open enrollment for out of zone applications will continue until May 1. If you are an out of zone student this year and would like to continue at HHS again next year, you will need to fill out an out of zone form and turn it in by May 1st.
