The HHS Canned Food Drive will end on Friday. Last year HHS collected over 75,000 cans and we want to beat that record this year! Cans that we collect stay in Hendersonville and benefit the Hendersonville Samaritan Association. Please bring in cans or money: $1.00 = 5 cans. Thank you for supporting the canned food drive!

HOSA blood drive sign-up will be today in the cafeteria. You will also be able to pay club fee if you have not already. This Friday is the last day to join HOSA for the school year.

Student Council meeting Wednesday morning at 7:30 in the lecture room.

FCA will be meeting in the Auditorium this week due to the canned food drive storage in the Lecture Room. We will still meet at 7:30am. See you in the Auditorium Thursday morning.

Tonight is spirit night at Culver’s for the Golden Girls. Be sure and eat at Culver’s from 5:00-8:00.

Cross Country and Volleyball pictures will be taken today at 3:00 in the gym lobby. See your Coach for picture order forms.

The second information meeting on next summer’s student trip to Tsuru, Japan will be this Thursday night, October 19 at 6:00pm in room 126 at Union University.

All parent ads are due to Mrs. Rogers on November 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. They can be emailed to her or given to her on these days in room 141.

All Seniors need to choose their senior pose for the yearbook by Friday with Lifetouch Studios. Mrs. Rogers will be at school Thursday from 12:00-3:00 in the yearbook room across from Room 115 if you want to choose your picture with  her.

Got Library fines? Bring canned goods to the library to pay off your fines during the week of October 16. One canned food equals up to $1.00 in library fines. All proceeds will go to the HHS Canned Food Drive supporting the Hendersonville Samaritan Center.

Tickets for the school performance of Dracula will go on sale Wednesday in the cafeteria. First come first served as seats are limited. Show will be the following Wednesday, October 25 in the morning during school. Student tickets are $5.00.

Fall Ball is Saturday night, from 8:00-11:00pm. Tickets will be on sale for $5.00 today at lunch. Tickets at the door will be $7.00. If you wish to bring a guest from another school, you must get approval form from Mrs. Baugh today and turn it in by 8:00am Thursday.

Congratulations to the Sumner County 4H Poultry Judging Team on bringing home the State Title! Make sure to wish our Hendersonville High School team member, Aubrey Garrison, good luck as she and the rest of the team competes in the National Competition at the North American International Livestock Exposition next month!

Any art student going on the art field trip Friday needs to have $6.00, your permission slip and your accountability slip to Mrs. Kandros in room 137 by no later than Wednesday.

Wednesday’s Italian Club meeting is cancelled and rescheduled for Wednesday, November 1 right after school in the lecture hall.

You can still order a yearbook online for $75.00 plus $7.00 for name or you can leave a check made out to HHS. Please give to Mrs. Good in the front office or Mrs. Roger’s mailbox.

 Students please be aware that parking spaces are numbered and assigned. If you do not have a parking tag that matches the number on the space, you are NOT allowed to park in that space.  Parking passes can be purchased in room 144 or before school at the black desk in the back lobby.
